Popular Gunnison beach is the largest nudist beach on the east coast of America.  On Sandy Hook peninsula, Gunnison celebrates panoramic views of New York Harbour and Manhattan's world famous skyline. Because it sits on federal land, this nudist beach is the only legal clothing-optional beach in New Jersey.

Drawing 5,000 plus nudists a weekend, Gunnison is a favourite recreation area which includes legal alchohol consumption. Many of the visitors to this nude beach prefer to see it kept an adults-only site, but nudist families sunbath and have fun when visiting. Close to the Pyrenees, Leucate Plage nudist beach benefits from much calmer seas than do other Mediterranean beaches because of its location along the coast  Golden sand and clear water, this nude beach gives nudists a much broader choice of activities and area attractions. 

The Aphrdite Village and Club Oasis are both naturist resorts nearby and both have beachfront to enhance the naturist experience.  Ulysse Nature, a nudist camp grounds and accommodation is further down the beach in the older section.

Although difficult to find English speaking servers, the restaurants and pools are nudist family friendly and the area offers apartments to let on the sea for vacations. Black's Beach San Diego Invites Nudist Fun

Nude beach enthusiasts can find Black's Beach in Torrey Pines, San Diego.  On the magnificent Pacific, this secluded nudist section is the northern beach. Named for the Black family, this nude tourist spot is the largest nude beach in the United States. Nudity is prohibited in the southern beach area managed by the city of San Diego.

Well known for its surfing on the southern portion, Black's Beach is a favourite events and celebration area and nudists who have little experience in the water must be careful of the strong waves even in the northern beach area.

Baker nudist beach can be accessed via Bowley Street. The nude beach section sits at the northern end of the beach near the larger rock outcroppings.

This is nudism on the cheap, with the only mandatory expense (if driving there) being the $6 parking fee. From the lot head north to Lifeguard Post #14, then drop your drawers and enjoy yourself.
